2. This website
This website is a static page hosted by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA). When you visit it, GitHub processes technical data such as your IP address in server logs to deliver the page and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking or advertising, and all fonts are served from this website itself.
3. Submitting a clip with the Google Form
When you submit a clip, we receive:
- the email address of the Google account you sign in with,
- the name or gamertag you enter (this is the name we show as credit),
- optional information: social media handle and a description of the clip,
- your confirmation that you allow us to use the clip,
- the video files you upload (which may contain your voice or in-game name).
We use this data to review your clip, edit it, publish it with credit and contact you about it. Legal basis: our agreement under the Terms that you accept when submitting (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in running the channel (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The form and uploads are provided by Google (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC). Uploaded files are stored in our Google Drive only until our system has downloaded them to our own computer; after that they are deleted from Google Drive.
4. Submitting by email
If you email us a clip or a link, we process your email address, the content of your email and the attached or linked video for the same purposes as described above.
5. Publication
Selected clips are published on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram together with the name or gamertag you gave us. Your email address is never published. Once published, the content is also subject to the privacy policies of those platforms.
6. Google API Services
Our internal tool "GTA Clips Pipeline" uses the Google Forms API, the Google Drive API and the YouTube Data API exclusively for the GTA Clips Today Google account: to read form submissions, to download and then delete uploaded files, and to upload our own videos. It does not access data of any other Google user. GTA Clips Pipeline's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell data, show ads based on it or share it with third parties.
7. How long we keep data
Submission data and original files are kept as long as we need them for our videos. Published videos stay online as described in our Terms. Your email address and other non-public submission data can be deleted on request.
8. Your rights
Within the limits of the law, you have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to processing and to data portability. Just email us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
